The Goalkeeper is a soccer game where you play just one position: your team's goalie. You'll have to take care of many aspects in addition to the ones that are just soccer-related.
Every week you have to select the type of training you want to do. Put special emphasis on talking with your teammates, improving your reflexes, or working on physical performance. As usual, the more you train, the more you'll improve your skills.
That said, where you really show off your skills is in the games. Thanks to a simple minigame, you can try to halt all the balls shot at your goal. Your saves will earn you prestige, and the goals scored will take it away; it's that simple.
At the end of each half, you can use the prestige you've earned to ask for a salary increase or a transfer to a bigger club. It's nothing super complex, but it's fun enough to keep you glued to your screen.
The Goalkeeper is a very entertaining game for any football lover. Its only problem is that the names of the players aren't real, which might be a letdown for some people.
